This is a prescription for failure right from the start. The only effective method of monitoring your weight loss is to perform body fat assessments with near infrared analyzation methods. Otherwise, you could be losing muscle and water which will ruin your metabolism)

At Fit Maxx We Are All About Function No other fitness center in South Central Kentucky provides functional strength training programs as their ONLY method of exercise. And this is sad because functional strength is the foundation to what we each need every day.
Functional Strength Training is about training you in the ways your body moves. There is absolutely NO MACHINE that can do that. And Functional Strength Training is the most rewarding, the most challenging and will give you the kinds of results you are looking for faster than any other method of exercise there is. You don't need aerobics with functional exercise because functional exercise provides a tremendous cardiovascular workout in and of itself. You get more bang for your buck with functional exercise than with any other type of exercise you can do.
For example, research now shows that when you exercise with kettlebells (as shown in the picture above) you can burn upwards of 1,000 calories per hour. Try that with aerobics! No aerobic program can produce these kinds of results, but this is just the tip of the iceburg. Using kettlebells also places a huge demand on your energy systems AFTER the workout, upwards of 24 hours. That means you are going to burn more calories overall, whereas with aerobics, your metabolic system returns pretty much to normal about 90 minutes after the activity is completed.
Women of all ages CAN do this exercise and it will work every muscle in your body, burn fat, and strengthen the core while toning you up. This is what functional exercise looks like. It may take a few weeks to build your foundation up to get you to where you can do this but I have ladies that are well into their 50's and 60's doing this exercise and many of them have arthritis and other medical issues. If they can do it, you can do it. And NO OTHER fitness or personal trainer can get you there but me.
